International Women’s Day is on Tuesday 8th March and is a global initiative celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity.
The team at YourLink believes wholeheartedly in the equal treatment and respect of women regardless of age as well as the importance of celebrating women’s achievements. In our formative years as an organisation we have been incredibly fortunate to have had the wisdom and support of a range of women of all ages.
We will always strive to make the community we live in more inclusive.
What can you do?
One of the simplest ways to get involved is for everyone to pledge for parity. We can all pledge to take a concrete step to help achieve gender parity more quickly, whether to help women and girls achieve their ambitions, call for gender-balanced leadership, respect and value difference, develop more inclusive and flexible cultures or root out workplace bias.
We, at YourLink, make this pledge to create inclusive, flexible cultures.
