Digital training
for carers

A digital literacy and skills development program for carers

Carers provide unpaid care and support to family members and friends who have a disability, mental illness, chronic condition, terminal illness, an alcohol or other drug issue or who are frail aged.

There are currently 2.65 million unpaid carers in Australia providing 2.2 million hours of unpaid care per year.

With enormous responsibility and commitment to providing emotional, social, financial support, as well day to day organising and managing an individual’s life, many carers find themselves socially isolated or with low levels of social support.

By partnering with organisations that represent Carers, we build confidence, skills, access to technology and resources for Carers to engage online with friends, family and support services, while discovering new ways of self-care.

We do this through co-design, development, delivery and marketing of the program most suited to the needs of these individuals. The design is essential to create a safe, relaxed and personalised experience.

Our process includes:

  • A discovery and design process to develop the right digital inclusion program

  • Marketing support to drive demand and participation

  • Program roll-out of devices using a personalised approach with 1:1 support

  • Group digital training either online or in person creating a shared social experience

  • Feedback calls and support

  • Remote device management.
