BallyCara selects YourLink as digital inclusion partner for social support program for seniors
YourLink is excited to be partnering with BallyCara to design and deliver a digital inclusion and social support program for seniors across South East Queensland. BallyCara inspires healthy, happy living of seniors through a range of practical supports, services and accommodation in Queensland and Victoria.
“The last couple of years have demonstrated how important digital access and skills are for wellbeing and practical life activities. Many of our clients haven’t had access to a family member or friend to help them embrace the digital world.” Paul Johnson, Chief Opportunity Officer, BallyCara.
“The digital skills program is an exciting evolution for how BallyCara will support our clients to remain independent and connected through technology. We see great opportunities for how we will integrate technology into our services and support.” says Paul.
YourLink is partnering with BallyCara to provide a range of services to bring this program to life. This includes the program design and strategy; program communications; training for staff and clients; iPads and mobile data procurement; and program support.

The program is initially being delivered to clients across Queensland and then will be expanded to Victoria. For BallyCara clients in the program, they will receive an iPad with data, YourLink led group training to support the use of the device, one-on-one social support from BallyCara staff and ongoing YourLink support.
